MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER
Philosophy is essential for a winemaker
at the beginning, when you first consider becoming a winemaker. When you decide why you need this and why you, specifically. You think about what you will create, what kind of wines, who they’re for, and what you want to convey through them. You ask yourself questions and find answers. And if the answers satisfy you – you become a winemaker.
After that, you simply have to work hard. Learn, practice, work, learn again, try, worry, lose sleep, read, invent, learn once more, and work again. Cold, heat, winter, summer, morning, day. Keep moving, get tired, smile, wake up, and work again.
Yes, and to drink, to taste, to smell, to savor, to remember, to make notes. Meet people, communicate, tell stories, demonstrate, listen, learn, borrow ideas, bring something of your own, and go implement it.
And if your philosophy doesn’t crumble in the face of all these difficulties, concerns, and occasional failures, you become… no, not a winemaker – a happy person.

VINUM estate Sauvignon Blanc
The dry white wine of a light green colour. Fresh and crisp in taste. Sauvignon Blanc has a pronounced and exclusive aroma of currant leaves and gooseberries. Connoisseurs with a delicate taste can find basil, tarragon, celery and lemon grass. It goes well with various salads and fish. It will bring special pleasure in combination with cheeses or grilled seafood dishes.

VINUM estate Cabernet Merlot Saperavi
Dry red wine, with a rich colour. A blend made of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Saperavi grapes. A complex bouquet with hints of aromas of black currant, cherry, prune, and chocolate. The taste is well balanced, with a pleasant refreshing acidity and softness with nuances of oak, obtained by aging the wine in barriques.

SELECTION Vladlen Uzhakov Fetească Neagră
Elegant dry red wine, of an intense ruby colour. Moderate aroma of plum, black cherry, vanilla and pepper. The taste is fresh, balanced and rounded. Maturation in the bottle brought complex animal flavours. After aging in barriques, the wine acquired softness and velvety. It is recommended with roast beef or lamb. Also with Parmesan, Cheddar, or Roquefort cheeses.

We are a family-owned company with longstanding traditions in viticulture. Our history began over two centuries ago, in 1806, when our ancestors, by the will of fate, moved from northeastern Bulgaria to what was then southern Bessarabia. Since then, nine generations of our family have remained devoted to grape growing. From father to son, we pass down knowledge and expertise in viticulture and winemaking. Our modern generation has over 25 years of experience in winemaking. In our work, we combine the traditions of Moldovan winemaking with the knowledge of the most advanced global technologies.
