MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER

Philosophy is essential for a winemaker

at the beginning, when you first consider becoming a winemaker. When you decide why you need this and why you, specifically. You think about what you will create, what kind of wines, who they’re for, and what you want to convey through them. You ask yourself questions and find answers. And if the answers satisfy you – you become a winemaker.

After that, you simply have to work hard.
Learn, practice, work, learn again, try, worry, lose sleep, read, invent, learn once more, and work again. Cold, heat, winter, summer, morning, day. Keep moving, get tired, smile, wake up, and work again.

Yes, and to drink, to taste, to smell, to savor, to remember, to make notes.
Meet people, communicate, tell stories, demonstrate, listen, learn, borrow ideas, bring something of your own, and go implement it.

And if your philosophy doesn’t crumble in the face of all these difficulties, concerns, and occasional failures, you become… no, not a winemaker – a happy person.
